2026 Schedule
Bring your lawn chairs, cold drinks, dancing shoes, appetite, and sunscreen to enjoy this year’s Freedom Festival food, music, competitions, parade, fun, and fireworks!
Eley Memorial Park, West Albion Street, Avilla
• 4:00 pm – Food Alley opens, offering a variety of delicious options for attendees.
• 4:00 pm – Craft and Merchants area opens for shopping for local goods.
• 4:00 pm – Bounce House Fun begins, providing entertainment for children. Sponsored by Noble REMC & Horizon Bank.
• 4:00 pm – Face Painting
• 4:00 pm – Seeker Sensory Discovery Bins and Prizes Activity
• 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm– Kids Games sponsored by Independent Full Gospel
• 5:30 pm – The Opening Ceremony will take place, featuring Adam Dunlap and a blessing by Todd Herendeen
• 6:00 pm – Kids Sawdust Pile activity starts, sponsored by Harper Funeral Home.
• 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm – The Todd Herendeen Band performs on the Main Stage at W. Albion St., sponsored by Community State Bank.
• 4:00 pm – Food Alley opens with a range of meal choices for festival goers.
• 4:00 pm – Craft and Merchants area opens for shopping with local goods.
• 4:00 pm – Bounce House Fun begins for children, sponsored by Noble REMC & Horizon Bank.
• 4:00 pm – Face Painting
• 4:00 pm – Seeker Sensory Discovery Bins and Prize Activity
• 4:30 pm – Celebration to America event takes place on the Main Stage.
• 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm – Kids Games sponsored by Independent Full Gospel,
• 5:00 pm – Talent Show begins on the Main Stage at W. Albion St.; registration starts at 4:30 pm. Sponsored by John Ley Monument Sales.
• 6:00 pm – Cornhole Tournament, sponsored by Biggby Coffee & Groundworks. Location to be announced.
• 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm – Hubie Ashcraft Band performs, sponsored by Community State Bank.
• 8:00 am – Car Show Registration at the corner of E. Albion St. & Main St., sponsored by Pretty Pooches, Key Exteriors, and Black & Ramer Insurance.
• 8:30 am – 5K Run located Noble County Public Library at 104 Ley Street
• 9:00 am to 12:00 pm – 14th Annual Car Show, with awards given at 12:00 pm.
• 10:00 am – Horseshoe Tournament begins, with registration at 9:00 am.
• 10:00 am to 2 pm – Poker Run (Golf Cart/Side by Side) Start at Birdie Barn
• 10:00 am – Food Alley with range of meals for festival goers.
• 10:00 am – Craft and Merchants opens for shopping for local goods.
• 10:00 am to 1:00pm -Seeker sensory Discovery Bins and Prize Activity
• 11:00 am – Kiddie King & Queen Contest starts (registration at 10:30 am), sponsored by St. James Restaurant & Onxx & Impact Fitness
• 11:00 am – Face Painting
• 11:00 am – Scavenger Hunt for Kids, sponsored by Deyo Masonry
• 11:30 am– Pie Baking Contest
• 12:00 pm – Bounce House Fun begins, sponsored by Noble REMC & Horizon Bank.
• 12:30 pm – Pie Baking Contest on main stage
• 2:00 pm – Parade Line Up at Accel Parking Lot, 302 Progress Way.
• 3:00 pm – Parade proceeds down Main St., with the theme “Red, White & Blue”.
• 4:00 pm – Jeep Show
• 4:15 pm – Celebration to America event.
• 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm – Ariella & Nicholaas perform on the Main Stage, sponsored by G Street.
• 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm – Kids Games sponsored by Independent Full Gospel
• 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm – The Band Cheyenne performs.
• 6:30 pm – Jeep Show awards
• 8:00 pm – Pie Auction
• 8:30 pm to 10:00 pm – Breland performs, sponsored by Tipton Law.
